Trois-Rivières en Blues unveils the long-awaited downtown program for the 2022 edition

The Trois-Rivières en Blues organization is proud to unveil the artists who will make up the free program of the Port of Trois-Rivières stage, presented by Voltflex, as well as the bars and restaurants of the downtown area. This event, which will take place from Thursday, August 25 to Sunday, August 28, invites all fans to take part in the return of the festivities in the heart of the city. Pleasure guaranteed!

Port of Trois-Rivières Stage - Free

Located in the Parc Portuaire, the stage will host numerous blues artists during four days of festivities.

On Thursday, August 25, at 7:30 p.m., the festival will welcome Ghost Town Blues Band, for the third time in only five years, for an evening bursting with energy. On Friday, August 26, Mauritian Manon Brunet will be performing at 7:30 p.m., offering a gospel music interpretation. On Saturday, August 27, the festivities will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Paul Arthur Band, performing at the event for the first time, followed by the Blues Jar trio, guitarist Spencer MacKenzie, Justin Saladino Band and the talented Erja Lyytinen. The day will end with Mike Goudreau & Boppin' Blues Band taking the stage at 7:30 pm. On Sunday, August 28, festival-goers will be able to attend the Québec à Memphis contest starting at 12:30 pm. The winner will be able to represent the Montreal Blues Society in Memphis at the next International Blues Challenge next year on Beale Street. This event will be followed by Durham County Poets on stage at 3:30pm for the presentation of their brand new album. Backtrack Blues Band will then perform at 5:00 pm, followed by the Ben Racine Band sextet at 6:30 pm. The festival will close with the duo ZOOM with Shawn Kellerman on stage at 8:00 pm. Shows in several downtown establishments - Free

In addition to the stage presented by Voltflex, 6 bars and restaurants will host shows by various blues artists from August 25 to 28. Starting at 6:30 p.m. each evening, these performances will be held at La Maison de Débauche by Carlito, at the Irish pub Le Trèfle, at the restaurant Le Grill, at Le Poivre Noir, at Bistro l'Ancêtre and at the restaurant O'Centro Pub & Grill. International shows on the Cogeco Amphitheatre stage - Paying Passes

In addition to the free programming offered downtown, blues fans will find themselves at the Cogeco Amphitheatre where spectacular artists will perform Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Headliners include none other than Tom Cochrane, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and Larkin Poe. A passport is required to attend all three days of performances.
